Aya Al Sabahi.
I’m a Masters student in Entertainment Technology with a background in computer science, focused on bridging the gap between user needs, design, and implementation to help teams move from idea to impactful interactive experiences.
Together, I bring:
01
Rapid Prototyping & Systems Thinking
Turning ideas into functional experiences that bridge design and engineering, leveraging computer graphics and distributed systems for performance and scalability.
02
User-Centered Design & Research
Uncovering what users actually need and translating those insights into clear, actionable design decisions so teams build the right product from the start.
03
Cross-Cultural Audience Awareness
Designing experiences that resonate across diverse audiences by accounting for cultural context, behavior, and interpretation.
Most recently, I was the lead prototyper for SoKids, a research-driven, play-based interactive system that uses touchscreen games to study how preschoolers categorize social categories while supporting developmental psychology research through natural, engaging interactions.
